I’m totally pissed.
A third party website copy and paste the translations which we work hard on and share with the public FOR FREE, and they DARE REMOVE OUR CREDITS and claiming the content is THEIR COPYRIGHT AND MAKING MONEY FROM THE TRAFFIC ON THEIR WEBSITE.
I don’t care if our translations is being share by third party, BUT DON’T YOU DARE REMOVE THE CREDITS. I’m someone who has been in the manga/anime community for years and I totally understand that people want to share things in readers and everywhere without asking permission to garner traffic and get money out of it. Fine, do it, but the TABOO about these sharing is REMOVING CREDITS.
You do that, you pissed me off and if you pissed me off, I’ll make it so that taking our website content will take you more time than it is worth it. I know how to be a troll!
I’m make my point clear by releasing an unedited and untlchecked chapter right now. I will not announced when I will re-edit that chapter, so, sorry readers, you will have to check it yourself.
So next time, whoever copy&paste our translations on third party website reader-ish type, they better KEEP THE CREDITS.

I could, but it’s penalized the readers too much. I have to first try other ways which won’t be too much of a pain for readers, just for the thief. If all methods fail than I will ask GM_Rusaku about it. 🙂 Thanks!

Actually, that method still failed. They actually went and hand typed the whole thing. So shameless that bastard… he making hundreds of dollars a month just stealing… nothing we’ve done have stopped him at all. RIP

haha, i found this chapter very enjoyable xD All the small runts and threats gave it a little spice, like having funny tl-comments 😀 You should keep doing that, as long as you don´t kill the momentum of the story xD

It’s not worth going through password. I’ve learn from Attractive Fascinante and Fantasyshrine. You have to put time and too much effort to purge the ones. In fact, I don’t believe stopping people from sharing. I mean, you like it you share it.
My point is you have to credit people for their hardwork. It’s the same for artists. You like their work, you share their website or talk about them. You don’t take the picture, cropped out their signature and say this is your work and no one can copy it. This is called “shameless”.

Not giving proper credits is immoral! I hope the thief will stop.
I like this project and I told my cousin about this. And now we are avid readers.
I am thankful that the translator chose to translate this story. We are enjoying the benefits of his labor and skills.
Now this thief is disrupting things.
Thief, look for an honest means of earning. Thievery never produce good results in the long run.
I wish ther is a cyber police to apprehend this person.

I tried working as a ghost writer. But I never finished the first month. I just cant stomach writing a book and have others claim as theirs, even if they paid me for it. So I totally understand how the translator feels.
To those who will repost, please give credits to the translator.

I know there is always a way around it, but making a pain in the ass for those shameless douchebag and enfants de chiens sales without breaking my back to make them understand that you don’t remove credits is worth it.
Because if they keep removing credits, Je te jures! I’ll alternate between language in every chapter!

My brother was a computer programmer, he made a very simple code that just removed a certain colour from an image(to view). He would then make images that had 2-3 colour text overlapping each other. He then posted them online and only people that had the code could see the text, also if others did remove it on their own they would have to find the right colour to see the right text.
I don’t think that just doing what my brother did would work but, if it was turned in to a google plugin or the like, then you could have the colour that would need to be changed for every paragraph. The only way around it then is to “hand type” the hole thing.

Lol, this happened to me and my group too. We only had three chapters up and weren’t even well known at all and people were already stealing from us lol. My fellow translator got so angry. We just put a few like “watermarks” in the chapter and was done with it o3o.

This bastard is actually pretty infamous for making several Manga sites…. so he’s an experienced, thick faced bastard who likes to make money off of other people’s hardwrok. Tried to DMCA this bastard, he switch countries. Tried to watermark him. He types it. Using all sorts of anti-theft plugins, there are ways around it. Even GM using pdf with water marks alll over it and needing to sign in and stuff doesn’t stop this guy. GM is pretty much about to give up

So horrible! If they do copy paste then turn off the click feature so we, reader have to just read and click the link and there will be no copy paste whatsoever can be done in your site. Hope you can withstand it

Oh it’s this guy again; don’t bother. Multiple prior translators (as in over a dozen) have been hit by this guy and they’ve tried everything from converting to images with watermarks to restricting access entirely to translating false chapters. They all failed, the guy is perfectly willing to just make a manual copy by typing and go to whatever lengths necessary to gain access.
You’re honestly better off just ignoring him; any attempts you make to prevent him from stealing your shit will most likely fail and only anger your genuine readers.

Truthfully, I’m not spending energy too much on stopping copy&paste. I’m getting pissed about shameless credits removal and claiming ownership over someone else’s work.
Keep the credits to recognize the team hardwork, what is so complicate about it? You do that and I am happy.

You could have just post a total MTL chapter without ever changing a damn and let it up for a few days or weeks.. That fellow who did it is a total waste.. Earning on reader’s money and worst not even his genuine work! I can understand you being pissed, even we your avid readersare pissed.. What is his site, just let us trolls him and steamrolled him..

Yeah, you should put some copyright restriction when someone tries to copy your translated page. A watermark should work too.
